This piece brings up lots of different emotions- it can be calming and peaceful, but when the light hits the metallic in the right way, it changes to thrilling and commanding!

Beginnings is completed using acrylic paint, built up in several different layers of colour. Bronze metallic foil leaf is then applied, which makes the piece become alive and change with different lighting situations and time of day.

Beginning is hand painted on stretched canvas with painted sides, and is completed with a layer of matt varnish, and is signed on the front of the work.

This piece would be a great splash of colour in a modern contemporary home.
