This piece actually started life because of a song of the same name, from a TV show, which I could not get out of my head for weeks, no matter how hard I tried- we've all been there, right?
Here we see that the little boxes are containing the biggest, boldest and most colourful dreams!
This would be the opposite of the message of the song- it is a reflection of 1950's American suburbia: everything is the same and everyone is just playing a game of keeping up with the Jones's . The little boxes in that case where the houses which were, "all made out of tick tacky, and they all look just the same".
This is a medium sized piece, great for any room, and sits great with similar sized works, or even as part of a gallery wall set up. The sides are fully painted, and the piece is completed with a coat of quality matt acrylic varnish, and is completely ready to hang, as soon as it arrives in your home.
